Our degree with foundation year could be the stepping stone you need to achieve your goals. The foundation year aims to prepare you for degree-level study and is a great way to build the confidence, skills and knowledge needed to succeed on your degree course. Foundation year The strength of the course lies in preparing students, who are unable to follow the more traditional route onto a degree course in Financial Management and Accounting. The foundation year aims to provide you with the fundamental knowledge and skill set in a range of mathematical and business principles, as well as the theories and concepts involved in investment risk and professional ethics. If you successfully complete this foundation year, you will then have the chance to progress onto the Financial Management and Accounting BA (Hons), subject to meeting progression requirements. Degree The Financial Management and Accounting BA (Hons) degree part of the course aims to enable you to make a valid contribution to managerial and accounting functions of any organisation such as sole traders, partnerships, private and public companies, and charitable organisations.
