The BA (Hons) Business Management course brings together degree-level education and professional practise. Our flexible BA (Hons) Business Management degree has been co-designed with industry experts to equip you with the hands-on experience and knowledge relevant to industry allowing you to thrive in a complex, digital landscape. All students begin their journey on the BA (Hons) Business Management degree learning the fundamentals of Business & Management – giving you that core understanding to apply to any business industry. You will then have the choice to customise your degree based on your individual ambitions and interests. For students that opt for a package of specialist modules, a specialist degree will be awarded in marketing or entrepreneurship. For students that opt for a range of optional modules or combine modules from multiple specialist areas, a BA (Hons) Business Management degree will be awarded upon completion of the course. BA (Hons) Business Management BA (Hons) Business Management (Digital Marketing) Digital Marketing is now fundamental to all aspects of business, whilst underpinning an organisations core values, the way they communicate and their relationships with their customers. Our digital marketing pathway is designed to give you an insight into how consumers think and make decisions, how brands communicate and how they grow and thrive in the digital world. We explore the world of content and social media and host marketing labs regularly throughout the year to give you an opportunity to apply your skills with real businesses. The LinkedIn 2020 Emerging Jobs report showed that Marketing jobs are in the top 10 for emerging jobs in the UK and we provide you with the skills needed to flourish in the industry. BA (Hons) Business Management (Digital Entrepreneurship) This pathway has been designed to provide you with the fundamental understanding of business whilst nurturing your entrepreneurial spirit and empowering you to thrive and innovate in your future. We run a social enterprise from our school that gives you the opportunity to put what you’ve learned into practice, providing you with real life insight into what it takes to work on a start-up. As part of your pathway, you’ll also have the opportunity to start your own business with the support of the University of Suffolk Innovation Lab, which provides you with mentorship, networking, desk space and funding opportunities. BA (Hons) Business Management (Digital Innovation) This pathway focuses on the digital aspects of business from Agile project management through to emerging technologies and how businesses can use them to make decisions and improve processes. Latest research shows that technology, automation & artificial intelligence (AI) could deliver a 22% boost to the UK economy by 2030. This pathway has been designed to enable you to have a core understanding of how business works in the modern world through systems and digital technologies. Or create your own pathway Not sure which pathway to choose or do you want the flexibility to create your own? Simply choose modules based on your career ambitions and interests. Combine a selection of modules in marketing, entrepreneurship, management, HR, innovation and more to create a custom curriculum to meet your needs. Our degree has been designed specifically to allow for this flexibility while ensuring that you reach the advanced knowledge necessary for roles in industry. At the start of your course, you will be allocated a Personal Academic Coach who will explain the options and pathways available, so you will always be supported in the decisions you make and can be sure they align with your career ambitions. Students that choose to create their own pathway will be awarded a BA (Hons) Business Management degree upon completion of the course.
