This course is delivered completely online This course is a one-year online course that allows students who already have (or expect to achieve) a Diploma, foundation degree or equivalent qualification in a Performing Arts (Musical Theatre, Dance or Acting) to top up their qualification to a BA (Hons) degree. The course is designed to be completed entirely through distance learning in order to allow students to study from anywhere in the world to achieve a degree qualification alongside other commitments. You will develop your knowledge and understanding of a range of contexts in which performance and production have developed and are practised. Students will be encouraged to expand their awareness of the diverse nature of the Performing Arts sector and to foster an understanding of the industry within a broader economic, political, social and technological context. The online tutor-led sessions will orient students in research methods, writing skills and refining ideas, as well as the process of crafting a dissertation. Entry Requirements: The applicant will need to have achieved a Diploma, foundation degree or equivalent qualification in Performing Arts (Musical Theatre, Dance, Acting by the start of the course.
