Course summary

The BA (Hons) Business Management is an innovative programme where teaching is based around live business projects, case studies, internships and work experience. The programme has been designed in consultation with industry experts, providing students with access to the latest leading academic knowledge and practical industry skills.

Modules

Year One – Level 4 (HNC, HND & BA) • Contemporary Challenges: Making a Difference (20 credits; compulsory; Graduate Attributes Framework module) • Entrepreneurial Innovation (20 credits; compulsory) • Finance for Business (20 credits; compulsory) • Learning in the Digital Era (20 credits; compulsory; Graduate Attributes Framework module) • Marketing Fundamentals (20 credits; compulsory) • People and Organisations (20 credits; compulsory). Year Two – Level 5 (HND & BA) • Changemakers: Building your Personal Brand for Sustainable Employment (20 credits; compulsory; Graduate Attributes Framework module) • Changemakers: Creativity and Value Creation (20 credits; compulsory; Graduate Attributes Framework module) • Contract Law (20 credits; compulsory) • Digital Intelligence & Analytics (20 credits; compulsory) • Financial Performance Management (20 credits; compulsory) • Marketing in Practice (20 credits; compulsory). Assessment method

Assessment methods vary from module to module but you can expect a range of assessments including, coursework, practical work and exams. Assessments combine academic rigor with authentic “real-world” tasks that demonstrate a students ability to meaningfully apply their knowledge and skills.
