Course summary
This programme caters for those interested in law generally but who have not yet identified a particular area of speciality. Thus, this programme allows for flexibility and choice. Students can construct their own programme of law studies drawn from the full range of courses on offer. Students will have the opportunity to enjoy masterclasses from guest speakers/lecturers.
Modules
Compulsory classes: Legal Research and Dissertation. Optional classes: International Environmental Law 1 & 2, E-Commerce, Cybercrime and Society, Employment Mediation, Competition Law and Policy in the EU, Intellectual Property Law, Financial Crime and Sanctions, Telecommunications Law, World Trading System: Law and Policy, European Human Rights Law, International Human Rights Law, International Migration Law, Human Rights Protection in the UK, Privacy, Crime and Security.
Assessment method
Assessment will be through a mix of exams and assessments that may be written or practical, depending on the subject.
Entry requirements
First- or upper second-class Honours degree, or overseas equivalent. We'll consider relevant professional experience and/or other relevant contextual information as appropriate. Please note: a Law degree is not a prerequisite for entry to this course.
