Course summary
This course is subject to approval. Understand the scale and nature of sustainability as a global issue and how this varies across the global north and south. You will recognise the key enabling and constraining, political and institutional contexts which affect sustainable business practice. You will also:
- Gain a critical understanding of the key global sustainability debates and challenges
- Explore key theories of sustainability transitions and sustainable business
- Understand how to critically engage with sustainable business perspectives to facilitate societal transitions to sustainable futures
- Develop an understanding of research methods and analytics, including techniques of data collection and analysis necessary for developing a critical perspective on sustainability challenges and sustainable solutions
Entry requirements
We require a First or Upper Second class honours degree (2:1, with 60% average) from a UK university or the overseas equivalent. When assessing your academic record, we take into account your grade average, position in class and the standing of the institution where you studied your qualification.
