Course summary
Want to work as a radiographer x-raying and scanning patients in an NHS or Private setting? If yes, this course provides you with all the knowledge and practical experience you’ll need to become a qualified Diagnostic Radiographer. We are looking for science or psychology (or similar) graduates with a 2:1 (2:2 might be acceptable with supporting information) to undertake this master’s degree. You should be a caring, empathic person who is energetic and wants to make a difference to people’s lives. This programme is a two-year pre-registration master’s degree. This means that it is an approved programme and completing this degree enables you to register with the Health Care Professions Council, the healthcare regulator, and work as a diagnostic radiographer in the UK; you have to have either a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in diagnostic radiography to do this. You will start earning a salary in two years’ time after you graduate.
