Modules
This course will introduce you to the fundamental principles of media production, filmmaking, broadcast and music, alongside creative problem-solving. You will begin developing the core skills needed for a future in digital television production, film, editing and post-production, music, photogtaphy and sound design, broadcast engineering or multi-platform content creation. The IFY will be designed to maximise Level 4 readiness. Modules are as follows: • Module 1: Diagnostic exploration – making informed choices • Module 2: Technical – media, film, TV and music tools, methods and production practices • Module 3: Specialist – industry-focused and live media, film, TV and music projects • Module 4: Integration – final major project
