Course summary
With an emphasis on skills training and research-led theory content, this programme aims to produce self-reflective, critical-thinking postgraduates who are able to solve problems and enthusiastically tackle new challenges in the biomedical and molecular sciences. The programme will provide a thorough grounding in key areas of cutting-edge research of particular relevance to academia, and the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Students will enhance their critical skills in information retrieval, research ethics, entrepreneurship, statistics, analysis of current science and literature, as well as transferable skills in presentation and communication, team-working, problem solving, and project management.
Entry requirements
Applicants should normally have, or expect to have, a lower second or above or equivalent in a scientific discipline in the field of biological, biochemical or biomedical sciences.
