This BA (Hons) Film, Screen and Content Production degree will help you develop into a confident, creative individual who can pitch an idea, shoot, edit and share content and is ready to build a career in the creative, entertainment and media industries. The course will teach you practical film, moving image and content production skills. You will learn how to take an idea, develop it by writing a script and then go on to produce a creative piece of work such as a film, a short reel or a podcast. As well as being involved in all aspects of making films, adverts, music and performance videos and podcasts, you will also create compelling material for advertising campaigns by telling stories that help connect brands to audiences across different digital platforms. The course is tailored to your interests so you will learn how to make long-form film projects as well as crafting short-form, shareable content optimized for distribution on social media applications such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. If you are interested in making content for all the platforms and places where you currently watch and listen to things then this course is for you. What you'll study The BA (Hons) Film, Screen and Content Production degree equips you with the skills for a range of careers across the film and screen industries by focusing on the creation of different kinds of content for big screens, laptops and mobile devices.
