Our BSc International Business Finance (Top Up Degree) is intended as a flexible programme in the field of finance and business management. As a one-year top-up degree, this offers core elements from our Business and Finance undergraduate degrees but with bespoke elements specifically tailored for this programme. The curriculum combines business modules relevant to finance, such as project management, with finance-focused modules like Corporate Finance, and International Investment: Assets; Bonds and Equities. This structure ensures that international students benefit from studying a comprehensive range of subjects that enhance their cross-cultural understanding and preparation for the global business environment. The degree is intended for overseas applicants with the equivalent of an HND qualification in their home country, offering a fast-track route to study in the UK and progression to postgraduate studies.

International applicants
Applicants will typically have studied a Foundation Degree, HND or equivalent, in a subject allied to finance and/or accounting or business studies. Students will be admitted on the basis of recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). As a guideline, below are examples of the overall grades we would typically accept, subject to a match in prior study: SQA - Grade B classification overall HND - Merit Associate Degree GPA 3.0 or 75% Dazhuan - 75% English Language Non-native English speakers must achieve 6.0 overall with no component less than 5.5 in IELTS or equivalent tests.
