Course summary
The BSc (Hons) Professional Health Studies course reflects current health and social care delivery where the needs of individuals are increasingly being met by a broad range of professionals working in partnership to deliver a seamless service to patients and service users. The programme aims to help applicants develop greater critical awareness of the factors that need to be addressed in the workplace to improve the health of clients/patients/residents. There will be a focus on evidence-based practice and the programme/modules are aimed at encouraging applicants to develop a proactive attitude to addressing health-related issues.
