Course summary
Construction managers hold a lot of responsibility. They make sure a project meets the client’s needs, they monitor costs, supervise workers, ensure safety, and maintain quality. We designed our Construction Project Management course to give you the broadest possible range of skills so you can cope with a variety of situations on or off the site. Graduates and employers tell us that the required industry placement year is a real highlight. We’ve built up great partnerships in the industry and we put lots of work into getting you ready to make the most of your experience. Some students find they get offered a job before they’ve even graduated. Years 1 to 3 are joint with our other construction courses. You can learn about other roles in the industry and switch courses until year 4 if you find another one suits you better. The courses are accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Chartered Institute of Building so you can join as a student member.
