Our Theoretical Physics MSc is an intensive, research-led course in which you will examine basic topics in theoretical and mathematical physics such as general relativity and quantum field theory, before exploring advanced topics such as string theory and supersymmetry. This course has a subject classification which requires students whose nationality is outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland to have an ATAS certificate, irrespective of country of residence at the point of application.

Entry requirements
Bachelors degree with 2:1 honours in Maths. Alternatively, a 2:1 in a degree subject related to Maths will be considered on a case by case basis.
