Become a Nurse, or expand your practice, and change patients' lives. This course is designed for graduates and career changers who want to become a registered Nurse. It's also ideal if you’re already a qualified Nurse and want to pursue a second field of registration. You'll learn to provide world-leading* care and support to neonates, children, adolescents and their families. You'll graduate able to make complex decisions, evaluate practice, coordinate care, and advocate for your patients' needs. Assessment method
At Southampton, assessments are designed to equip you with the skills you need for success in your career. On this course, your theoretical skills will be assessed through essays, examinations, projects, professional conversations, and a dissertation. Practical skills will be assessed whilst you are on placement and recorded by your practice mentor.

Entry requirements
UK 2.2 Bachelor Hons degree or above or an equivalent standard in other qualifications approved by the University, GCSE English language and maths 4-9 or A*-C. You will be required to successfully complete a Recognition of Prior Learning as a condition of entry to the programme. . Subject to satisfactory health and DBS checks. 325 hours of relevant theoretical learning from your first degree or employment 675 hours of practice worked in a healthcare environment under the supervision of a registered healthcare professional
