Course summary
An MBA is an internationally recognised passport to a successful management career. You will consider and apply business theory to the world of work, deepening and widening your understanding of the organisation and the environment in which it operates. Our MBA is designed to introduce you to the essential areas of business and management. The full-time MBA is a broad, general management qualification covering finance, marketing, economics, strategy, leadership, organisational behaviour, and operations management. You will be joining a diverse international student body and as such you will experience different cultures and ideas and develop an international network of like-minded individuals. Students have used the MBA to change direction, build on their primary degree or to enhance their skillset before embarking on their chosen profession. Research carried out by the Association of MBAs and the Ulster University Business School demonstrates that MBA graduates’ benefit from investing in their studies both financially and in terms of their career.

Entry requirements
Applicants should normally have a good Honours degree or an equivalent professional qualification, together with a minimum of three years’ relevant post-graduate work experience. Applications will however be considered from experienced practicing managers and technical or other specialists who do not have a Honours degree but who have more significant work experience and demonstrate the ability and commitment to complete the programme. The minimum requirement for this course is Academic IELTS 6.0 with no band score less than 5.5. Trinity ISE: Pass at level III also meets this requirement for Tier 4 visa purposes. Ulster recognises a number of other English language tests and comparable IELTS equivalent scores.
