Course summary
This four-year iPhD is designed to develop and nurture the next generation of technology pioneers who will have the skills, assets and network to innovate at the artificial intelligence and electronics interface, enabling systems with beneficial human impact. On this programme you'll begin with a nine month individually tailored programme of technical and interdisciplinary research training, and a process of shaping your research focus. The remainder of the programme includes strong engagement from industry and government partners, international collaboration, and continued development of outreach and entrepreneurship.

Assessment method
Annual reports, viva voce and thesis examination. The iPhD also has first-year exams.
How to apply
International applicants
English language: Band C, IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in all components.
This course has a subject classification which requires students whose nationality is outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland to have an ATAS certificate, irrespective of country of residence at the point of application.
