Course summary

The course is aimed at students wanting to continue their education through applied learning. In addition to the knowledge, understanding and skills that underpin the study of the music industry, the course gives students experience of the breadth and depth of the sector that will prepare them for further study or training. Through practical classes, you will develop a wide range of techniques, and other teaching methods include formal lectures, seminars, tutorials and reflective practice.

Mandatory Units: Creative Research Project Advanced Music Production Specialist Units: Composing to a Brief Mixing and Mastering Advanced Sound Design for Interactive Media Advanced Composing Using Technology Experimental Composition

Assessment method

You will be assessed via centre-devised and Pearson-set assignments throughout the course. Assessment methods are assignment based and may include practical projects including presentations, group activities, written reports, or research projects.

HNC Music (Production) Those with previous experience or learning that is relevant may be eligible via our APL process for accreditation towards this course. All applicants must complete a satisfactory interview.
