The Digital Health and Care discipline is evolving rapidly. We have updated our programme to include new elements of policy and skills to help you navigate this rapidly evolving environment. Year One In your first year, you will build a solid foundation in health and care management. Key areas include understanding the counselling, communication and therapeutic relationship, exploring basic healthcare strategies, and learning about management, organisational behaviour and digital change, whilst also developing your critical thinking skills. You will study the principles of health and social care practice, preparing you for management roles in healthcare. The curriculum also includes health economics, addressing evolving patient needs. You will also undertake an independent project, that will prepare you for a lifelong career in the health and care sector. Assessment method
Assessments include: essays, exams, reports, presentations, reflective blogs and professional portfolios. You will be asked to utilise information technology communication and organisational skills for your assignments.
