Course summary
The MSc conversion programme in Computer Science will give you the opportunity to develop advanced knowledge and in-depth practical skills in the rapidly-expanding fields of computer science and analytics. Modules
Full-time students complete eight taught modules; four in trimester A and four in trimester B - and undertake an MSc dissertation project in the trimester following the completion of taught modules. Part-time students complete eight taught modules; four in year one, four in year two and undertake an MSc dissertation project over two trimesters following the completion of taught modules. Assessment method
Assessment is used to demonstrate the achievement of learning outcomes. The methods of assessment include class tests, coursework assignments, practical tests and technical reports. Practical implementation and evaluation form a significant part of the assessment for the taught modules and for the work of the MSc dissertation.

Entry requirements
A minimum of a 2:2 honours degree of a UK university or equivalent in a subject other than Computer Science. Successful applicants will need to demonstrate competence in mathematics, with at least a B grade in National 5/GCSE Mathematics or equivalent. Academic IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) with no element below 5.5
