This course is designed for students who have not studied Maths at A level or mature students looking for a career change. Regardless of your background, if you have the potential to succeed on our course we'd love to hear from you. Every applicant is considered individually and we are looking for evidence that you are capable of dealing with the workload of the course. This might be by being in full-time employment or other experience, or by successfully completing three A-levels (usually at BBB grades) or equivalent qualifications. We welcome enquiries from individuals who wish to discuss their specific circumstances including any mitigating factors. In addition to the strength of your entry qualifications, we may also consider prior performance in maths qualifications, such as GCSE or Core Maths, as part of our selection process. If your application meets our interview criteria, you will be invited to attend an academic interview to discuss your application with us. Please get in touch with us for an informal discussion if you are interested in our foundation year programmes but you’re unsure whether you meet our criteria.
