You'll learn from experts shaping global policy - our staff are world-renowned leaders in development economics, international trade and environment and energy. You explore the relationship between mathematical modelling and economics. You study topics including:

  • probability models
  • financial mathematics and econometrics
  • economic policy on a macro and micro level.
During your integrated Masters year, you develop skills in both subjects and apply them to an advanced research project. We support your career development with opportunities to engage with potential employers, while you develop the confidence and competence they are looking for. You’ll also learn industry-standard software including MATLAB and SAS. Accreditation This degree is accredited to meet the educational requirements of the Chartered Mathematician designation awarded by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications. MMath or BSc?
