BA (Hons) Photography (with Integrated Foundation Year) is a four year degree programme, including a foundation year to help develop your creativity before you embark on year one of a degree. Do you want to take the joy of your photography forward into a lifelong practice and career, with impact and meaning? If so, our BA (Hons) Photography degree course at UCA Farnham will help you push your photographic boundaries, produce fantastic work and create the foundations for a range of careers. You’ll have access to a wide range of digital and analogue facilities, and because Photography sits alongside Fine Art and Digital Art as an interdisciplinary group of courses, you’ll have the chance to take part in cross-course elective units and collaborative opportunities which will only serve to elevate your learning experience and build a programme around your research interests. Our renowned teaching team bring with them high research profiles and industry connections, nationally and internationally. Recent student successes include victory in the EIZO Student Award, presentations at Photo London and being featured in the graduate issue of Photoworks. As a graduate you too could go on to become a successful photographer or work in the photographic industries - this may include a variety of fields including editorial, advertising, fine art, documentary-making, and gallery/project management. We require evidence of your English language ability to meet the requirements for your course. If you’re an EU student and studied a European qualification, we may accept the English Language score from your main qualification - please review your country from the list on our website to see whether we will accept it: https://www.uca.ac.uk/international-study/equivalent-qualifications/ If your qualification is not on this list, we accept the following English language qualifications: IELTS (overall score 6.0), TOEFL ibt (overall score 88), PEARSON PTE Academic (overall 55), Cambridge Proficiency Exam (overall score 169), Cambridge Advanced Exam (overall score 169). If you need a Tier 4 student visa to study in the UK, you will need to take an IELTS test, and achieve an overall score of 6.0 and a minimum score of 5.5 for each element (Listening, Reading, Speaking, Writing).
