Course summary

Our Building Surveying BSc (Hons) degree is a three-year course for those wanting to pursue a career in fields such as surveying, sustainability and the built environment. This undergraduate degree explores in detail, areas including construction technology, sustainability in the built environment, environmental design and adaptation to climate change. On the successful completion of our building surveying degree, you'll have experience and knowledge in fields such as building conservation, property law and analysis of existing buildings (building pathology) from heritage buildings to modern high rise office buildings. Acquiring this knowledge and skills will enable you to pursue a number of careers in the built environment sector. Our Building Surveying BSc (Hons) degree graduates will have the skills to work in a wide range of surveying, property and construction roles. The expertise you'll possess as a building surveyor will be widely recognised across the sector.
