You'll learn from a team of leading academics and practitioners with strong experience in the event sector and strong industry links to regional, national and international events. You can also benefit from a mentoring programme with course graduates, who now work in various roles across the industry. There are many opportunities to gain experience beyond the course, such as attending guest lectures, participating in University events, and taking advantage of multiple work experience opportunities. And you'll be studying in the heart of Southampton, a key events hub on England’s south coast. If you’re looking to study our event management degree but don’t have the relevant qualifications or experience, the business and law foundation year will help you develop the core skills and knowledge to progress. Find out more about the business and law foundation year. This course also offers the option of a placement year.
