Modules
The first year aims to provide a fundamental understanding of the aviation ecosystem, a foundation of business management, economics, finance and data analytics, airport planning and design and an introduction to aeronautical engineering. Modules: Introduction to the Global Aviation Ecosystem Introduction to the Aviation Business and Data Management Airport Planning, Design and Project Management Aircraft Engineering, Flight Theory and Safety Year Two In your second year, you will develop more advanced knowledge and skills to do with aviation operations and aviation safety, amongst others. Modules Aviation Global Logistics and Cargo Operations Aviation Operations, Safety and Security Airline Marketing and the Customer Journey Research Methods Sandwich Year There’s no better way to find out what you love doing than trying it out for yourself, which is why a work placement2 can often be beneficial. Work placements usually occur between your second and final year of study. They’re a great way to help you explore your potential career path and gain valuable work experience, whilst developing transferable skills for the future.
