Studied via via blended learning (online and in-person sessions), this standalone module provides a comprehensive exploration of hearing therapy, focusing on the development of counselling and communication skills essential for audiology practice. Assessment method

This module includes two written assignments, each worth 50% of your final grade. The first is a 2000-word critical analysis of audiological practice, due 6 weeks after the unit ends. The second is a 2000-word reflection on a 15-minute video demonstrating counselling skills, due 8 weeks after the unit ends. Formative feedback will be provided electronically within 3 weeks of submission.
