The Master of Science in Community Nursing is designed for registered nurses who are passionate about providing person-centred and family-based care across community settings. This innovative postgraduate course supports all four fields of nursing across the breadth of the expanding community nursing roles. It'll equip you with the advanced knowledge, skills, analytical thinking and leadership capabilities to address challenging and complex health and social care needs. Offering the flexibility of either full-time or part-time study, the programme can be tailored to your needs and area of work. You'll have the opportunity to study modules that include topics such as advanced health assessment, public health, leadership, digital health technologies, ethics and research, as well as modules which may have more of a specific focus to your area of nursing practice. Examples include, but are not exclusive to: diabetes, sexual health, palliative care, and heart failure.
Entry requirements
Minimum academic requirements UK honours degree 2:2 (or equivalent). Must be a registered nurse (NMC registered if undertaking clinical or progression pathway). English language requirements IELTS score of 6.5 (or equivalent) with no element below 6.0.
