Course summary

Our SQE1 Exam Preparation Course is a short, intensive revision course to ensure you’re confident and fully prepared for the SQE1 assessments. This short course provides a comprehensive revision of all legal areas you have previously studied. It’s ideal for students with a law degree or conversion law qualification. It will provide you with the opportunity to practise answering single best answer questions (SBAQs) in readiness for the SRA’s SQE1 assessments in functioning legal knowledge (FLK). This course will prepare you for the SRA’s centralised SQE1 assessments. The SQE1 assessments will test functioning legal knowledge (FLK) through two multiple choice assessments, each comprising 180 Single Best Answer Questions (SBAQs). Through lecturer led sessions, you’ll develop key assessment techniques, participate in FLK1 and FLK2 revision activities and complete mock tests which are designed to replicate the real SQE1 assessments. Why choose this course?

  • Confidence for the assessments, with the opportunity to practise the exact type of questions you’ll face. Our intelligent revision app, ULaw SQE, will give you practice tests using multiple-choice questions, which prepare you for the SQE1 exams, so you’ll know exactly what to expect. It will focus on the topics you need to improve, giving you the best preparation for success in the assessments.

Prior to starting the course you will need to download our free ULaw SQE revision app to sit practice assessments throughout the course. Full onboarding instructions and guidance will be provided upon enrolment on the course. Each 2 hour session on practice and law will involve a timed SQE1 style assessment. Each practice assessment consists of SBAQs. You will have a short break after each practice assessment before receiving feedback from a subject expert tutor on your assessment results, including tips and guidance. You will sit your SQE assessments at Pearson VUE test centres in the UK and internationally. For details on how to book, pay and receive your results for your SQE assessments, as well as request any reasonable adjustments, please visit the SRA website on https://sqe.sra.org.uk.
