Course summary

All of our engineering degrees provide project-based learning, helping you to develop the transferable skills and the multidisciplinary awareness so highly prized by industry. The foundation year provides a route onto an engineering degree if you don't have the qualifications or have not studied advanced level subjects sufficiently related to your course of choice. After successful completion of the foundation year in engineering, you can progress on to one of the relevant BEng (Hons) / BSc (Hons) degrees. Whichever route you take, you’ll have the skills and understanding you need to get started on your engineering career. FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• We are investing £115m to transform the way we teach and you learn in the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Open from Autumn 2023, our new Dalton building will enhance collaboration between students, staff and industry, and provide new and improved teaching spaces.
