Course summary
This practical degree will prepare you to shape the world's future by combining an excellent foundation in all aspects of Civil Engineering with the hands-on experience that employers are looking for. You'll study key topics including structural engineering, design, construction, geotechnics, hydraulics, and building information modelling (BIM), with an emphasis on their real-world applications. That means we treat you like a trainee engineer from day one, providing access to industry-standard technology on campus – including state-of-the-art labs for materials testing, fluid dynamics, 3D printing, robotics and more – plus the chance to forge industry connections with leading firms. Think the likes of Spencer Group, ABP, Siemens, Orsted and Smith & Nephew. On our four-year Integrated Masters (MEng) option, you study a year at postgraduate level on top of your degree. By studying a Masters, you'll further extend the depth and breadth of your knowledge and earn an MEng qualification. Why study at Hull?
