Course summary

This three-year course is designed to produce nursing graduates who will have the skills to respond to the changing needs of adults who require nursing care within a variety of rapidly changing healthcare environments. Successful students will be eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) which will permit them to practice as a Registered Nurse (Adult) in the United Kingdom. We have delivered nursing programmes for over 30 years and our courses provide excellence in teaching and research with innovative approaches to learning. Career prospects for our nursing graduates are excellent, with the majority moving rapidly into posts within the NHS and independent sectors. Areas include hospital, community, acute care, rehabilitation, elderly care and specialist practice nursing.

Qualification requirements

English language requirements for international applicants The minimum requirement for this course is Academic IELTS 7.0 with no band score less than 7.0. Ulster recognises a number of other English language tests and comparable IELTS equivalent scores.
