Explore people's changing relationships with the world’s oceans and seas on this science-focused maritime archaeology master's degree at the University of Southampton. You’ll study the technologies of seafaring, histories of environmental change, and underwater landscapes. Compulsory Modules: Maritime Aspects of Culture; Applied Maritime Archaeology; Dissertation Preparation. Typical optional modules: Marine Geoarchaeology; Ancient Mediterranean Seafaring; Maritime Museums and Heritage; Cultural Heritage within Environmental Impact Assessment; other Archaeology or University modules.
