Course summary
The School for Business and Society is a socially progressive with the aim to produce graduates equipped for the challenges facing economies in the years ahead, whether this be in an English or French speaking community. The degree programme is an academically rigourous programme which aims to equip you to become a holistic, resourceful, autonomous and reflective practitioner of management with command of the French language. Our programme will support you to be able to independently identify and develop your own English and French specialisms, and creatively engage with multiple disciplines. You’ll be numerically and digitally literate, robust and ethically sound, and sensitive to 21st century workplace needs for sustainability and diversity. You will be equipped with proficiency in French to both be capable of using the language itself as well as draw on the underlying academic knowledge that underpins any language study. You will leave the university capable of working in business internationally and seeking out, collating, managing, and analysing information to make evidence-based decisions that you will be able to summarise and present confidently and coherently.
