Course summary
This master's is suitable for professionals working in neonatal units. You will develop your neonatal expertise, learn to solve complex problems in neonatal care and to question neonatal policy and practice. Engage with nationally renowned senior neonatal clinical specialists and researchers while studying bespoke neonatal clinical modules as part of a global online learning community. We've developed the course in collaboration with the European Paediatric Society for Research (ESPR). Modules you choose are developed and delivered by senior neonatal clinicians and academics across Europe, most of whom are senior members of the ESPR. It's taught entirely online so you’ll learn together with peers working in neonatal units across the world.

Compulsory Modules: MSc Dissertation (18 Months) Research Methods; Neonatal Clinical Pharmacology;; Neonatal Haemodynamics; Neonatal Nutrition; Neonatal Pulmonology; Neurology of the Newborn.
Assessment method
Your learning will be supported by your personal academic tutor, online module leaders and, where appropriate, academic coach. The way we assess you will depend on the modules you study and may include: evaluation of your online activity, online examinations , strategy documents and business plans, clinical or practice guidelines, presentations to a Trust board or subcommittee, ‘conference’ posters and supporting papers, dissertation.
Entry requirements
UK 2.2 Hons degree or above or an equivalent standard in other qualifications approved by the University in a clinical, health or science subject. English language: band D, IELTS 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in writing and 7.0 in all other components
