Psychology at Strathclyde offers a vibrant learning environment to explore human behaviour – how we think, learn, remember, act and engage with others. You will work with a dynamic of specialists to explore our understanding of the mind. We offer high-quality facilities and a fun, engaging programme to study the conditions of human behaviour reasons for differences between individuals, such as personality or intelligence. As well as careers as a professional psychologist, psychology graduates have a lot of options open to them. Many go on to further study or to careers in teaching, human resource management, social work, as well as many other areas. To become a Chartered Psychologist your course must be accredited by the British Psychology Society (BPS). Our BA Hons degree in Psychology from the University of Strathclyde is BPS accredited. Ranked Top 10 in the UK for Psychology (The Times/Sunday Times University Ranking 2025).
