Key features Gain hands-on industry experience: You’ll have the opportunity to complete a work experience placement of up to a year in length. Dependent on the duration of your placement, you could gain an additional Diploma or Certificate in Professional Practice. Explore fashion capitals: Immerse yourself in the global fashion scene. Attend creative events, visit iconic fashion houses and explore industry premises across the UK and Europe’s fashion capitals. Study abroad at leading fashion schools: Spend a semester studying abroad at prestigious institutions like the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Gain international experience, broaden your perspective, and enhance your understanding of global fashion markets. Work on live briefs with leading brands: Gain real-world experience by working on live briefs for high-profile brands like Adidas, Next, and Aspinal of London. Build your portfolio, make key industry connections, and apply your skills to creative marketing campaigns.   • Marketing Strategy and Insight (40 credit points, first half of the year)
  • Brand Environments (40 credit points, second half of the year)
This module has two options, choose from: Option 1: Brand Development and Promotion gives you the opportunity to work in collaboration with another course from NTU to launch and craft a new brand which fuses differing disciplines together. Option 2: Placement in Professional Practice is a work placement option giving you the chance to apply theory to real-life business situations and evidenced solutions while gaining first-hand experience of the roles and responsibilities within the fashion and lifestyle industry.
