Course summary
Good producers are thin on the ground, and in high demand. They are crucial to the UK’s screen-based creative economy. Our MA Producing for Film and Television meets a strategic industry need for skilled producers who can deliver projects efficiently and creatively at a time when the producer's role is evolving and expanding far beyond its traditional boundaries. The course is delivered by practising professionals with established high profile track records. Direct industry engagement is integrated into a project-driven learning experience designed to support authorial producers: people who are capable of shepherding the collaborative swirl of project through development, production and beyond with strong creative and practical intent. Behind every successful moving image project is a strategically nimble and creatively insightful producer. Once you graduate you are well placed to work in a production department in TV and/or film as well as in creative project management roles in related sectors.
