Assessment method
The modules are part of an integrated suite that have both formative and summative assessments built into them. Normally applicants would be expected to have the equivalent of a BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering which should include a Mathematics and Science Level 4 unit and at least two units achieved with a Merit grade or a Foundation Degree in Engineering which must include modules in Mathematics at Level 4.

All applicants will be expected to provide a personal statement and evidence of their HND or Degree qualifications. All applicants should be able to demonstrate a strong interest in their chosen option, i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or General Engineering and have employment in an appropriate Engineering industry.
