Course summary
The MSc Business Analysis & Consulting has been developed to equip you with the practical, evaluative and analytical skills to allow you, as a future manager or consultant, to influence and develop strategy and performance within organisations. You will learn the key quantitative business analysis methods necessary to evaluate performance. In addition, you'll learn how to use business models to support the development of strategy for organisations and to help them to monitor and measure strategic processes. Simultaneously, you will develop the key skills of business consulting, which are applicable to any organisation. Industry involvement is at the heart of the course. You'll have numerous external clients throughout the year in your experiential learning class, and have the opportunity to undertake your summer project in collaboration with an external organisation. In addition, many MSc projects are carried out for an external organisation. You will spend the summer months working on a project of importance to their clients. The aim is to gain direct experience in applying the concepts and theories studied on the course.

Assessment method
Assessment methods include written assignments, exams, practical team projects, presentations and individual projects.
Entry requirements
Pass degree in business, economics, engineering or social science subject. Applications from those with other degrees are also encouraged. Subject to performance diploma students may transfer from the diploma course to the MSc.
