Course summary
With elite sports embracing technology and investing in the pursuit of marginal gains, professional clubs are increasingly looking to sport analytics to assist them in their day-to-day activities. The ability to analyse data, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions, will provide a competitive advantage for sports clubs, businesses, and athletes. To meet the growing demands of data in the sports industry, UEL's own and Scotland FA's Football Scientist Dr Alireza Monajati developed this MSc in Sport Analytics. During the programme you will learn how statistical and visual analytics are informing stakeholders to make data-driven decisions in sport. You will utilise industry-standard visualization software such as Tableau and PowerBI, and have the opportunity to learn fundamental skills with programming languages such as Python, whilst being fully supported all the way.
