Course summary

The LLM in International Business and Commercial Law offers you the opportunity to develop an advanced understanding of the law governing commerce and finance in today's international market. Multinational companies must regularly overcome a wide range of legal and governance issues in order to do business worldwide. This course encourages you to explore the legal challenges faced by international business and analyse the fundamental legal framework for dealing with them. You will study areas such as corporate governance, international trade transactions and competition law.


Entry requirements

We require a UK bachelor's degree with a First or Upper Second (2.1) classification or the overseas equivalent in Law. Candidates should demonstrate a strong background in Law modules relevant to the course, including Public Law and Contract Law and achieve scores of 2.1 or above in relevant modules. When assessing your academic record, we consider the grades you have achieved and the standing of the institution where you studied your qualification.
