Why International Business Management? Our International Business Management degree prepares you to become a skilled business leader in the global market, with expertise in practices and growth strategies across cultures. As well as gaining essential knowledge in business management, you will cover areas such as managing operations globally and cultural issues in management. With the opportunity for an international trip to a location such as New York or Milan (additional costs may apply, see course web page for details), as well as work placements with renowned companies such as Warner Bros and BMW, our ‘Make It’ programme of business experiences really helps our graduates stand out from the competition. You’ll draw on the expertise of lecturers with extensive professional credentials and research experience, as well as learn from inspiring industry guest speakers. You will also take advantage of the cutting-edge facilities at our brand new state-of-the-art School of Business and Technology building at Oxstalls campus, Gloucester, including a live Thomson Reuters trading room and equipment you’d find in company headquarters around the globe. Oxstalls is also home to The Growth Hub, where you may have the opportunity to gain experience as a shadow consultant, working with real businesses looking to grow and develop. Modules
Gain solid grounding in all aspects of business management including business law, marketing principles and understanding financial information. You will also look at business on an international scale, with subjects including managing operations globally and cultural issues in management.

Other
Grade C/4 in GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent) are normally required. Mature applicants: we welcome applications from mature students (aged 21 and over) and do not necessarily require the same academic qualifications as school leaving applicants.

International students will need to produce evidence of an acceptable score on an approved English language test such as IELTS. We run pre-sessional English language courses to help you prepare for undergraduate or postgraduate study.
