Do you have the skills required to enter a job market where digital ability is highly valued? This degree is industry led and research driven. Theoretical computer science principles are put into practice through the application of real-world projects. You will gain experience in the design and development of software across a wide range of platforms. You will be given opportunities to develop your problem solving and logical thinking skills to allow you to work as part of a high-performance software development team. As part of your degree program, you will have the opportunity to participate in an industrial placement that will occur prior to your final year of study. This placement will provide you with a unique chance to develop your career aspirations and gain first-hand experience working in the computing industry. Throughout your placement, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and knowledge that will help you succeed in your future career.
