Course summary

Our BSc in International Business Management gives you a greater understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing businesses who want to trade and/or operate overseas. We’ll help you gain specialist knowledge in building and maintaining relationships with international stakeholders and look at the political, cultural and economic challenges you may face when trading globally. You’ll study real organisations in order to gain strong business acumen and knowledge of management processes and practice, organisation theory and the global business environment. Preparing you for the ever-evolving world of global business, our International Business Management degree is designed to offer a diverse and well-rounded curriculum. Covering core topics such as enterprise and contemporary management issues, this course is designed to give you the skills to become a confident leader. Throughout your studies, you will engage with business and industry in some way, shape or form. Internships and placements are a fantastic way to build networks and gain valuable work experience. ‘Placement Year’ and 'International Experience Year’ options are available for this course. You will have the opportunity to fully consider these options when you have started your course at Bangor and can make an application for a transfer onto such a pathway at the appropriate time. We allow you flexibility in meeting our entry requirements and accept a broad range of qualifications. We are happy to accept combinations of the qualifications listed above, as well as alternative Level 3 qualifications such as City & Guilds, Access and Cambridge Technical Diplomas. We also welcome applications from mature learners and/or those with other qualifications are considered on individual merit. Additional fee information

On 4 December 2024 the Welsh Government confirmed that the tuition fee cap (the maximum tuition fee that regulated providers can charge to certain students on full-time undergraduate courses) will increase to £9,535 per year, subject to changes in the regulations by the Welsh Government.
