Course summary

Study BA Children's Development and Learning and develop your skills in the children’s workforce with a vocational degree that relates directly to your work. This course is a work-based route to a broad degree in education that enables students to progress to teacher training (such as EYTS or QTS). The majority of your assignments will be based around the tasks you complete as part of your job, enabling you to apply your skills directly to the workplace. This course enables you to convert a Foundation Degree in Children's Development and Learning (or equivalent) to a full BA undergraduate degree. You do not need to have taken your initial degree through the University of Reading's partner colleges. This course is aimed at education practitioners who are working with children in an educational setting for at least 2.5 days per week. Qualification requirements

Applicants must hold a relevant Foundation Degree or relevant two-year programme at NQF level 5 and be working in a school or setting with children in the 0–11 age range (or developmentally equivalent) for at least 2.5 days per week. Applicants must also have GCSE English at grade C (or 4).

Trinity ISEMeritWe require a Merit in each element from ISE II. If you take ISE III or ISE IV, we require a Pass in each element.
