Course summary

Start date: MSc by Research - 1st October, 1st January, 1st April & 1st July. The MSc by Research in Global Environmental Modelling allows you to undertake a year-long individual programme of personally and professionally enriching research. While this research programme usually finishes after a year, it can be used to progress to the second year of a PhD degree in the appropriate circumstances. Your research project will be shaped by participation in global environmental modelling research activities such as seminars, workshops, laboratory activity and fieldwork, as well as your involvement in our established GEMEO research group. In the latest Research Assessment Exercise, 95% of Geography research at Swansea was judged to be of international quality, and 60% was rated as world-leading or internationally excellent. Entry requirements

Normally a minimum of an upper second class Honours degree or equivalent in geography or a related field. English language requirement: IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 in each component) or Swansea University recognised equivalent.
