Take the next step in your academic journey by carrying out postgraduate research in Cultural Heritage. You'll benefit from the support of our experts, who are leading researchers in the field and have practical experience working in the heritage industry. Work flexibly on campus or via distance learning from anywhere in the world. You’ll develop your research skills to successfully make original findings and prepare for your future career. You'll work closely with the International Centre for Heritage (ICH), benefitting from the Centre’s support and interdisciplinary approach, with opportunities to carry out research in all aspects of cultural heritage, heritage management and related areas. The ICH welcomes and encourages innovative research ideas pushing the dimensions of cultural heritage. You’ll have the space to develop your ideas fully with the support of a dedicated supervisor and access to our collections and archives.

Entry requirements
For MRes and MA by Research programmes, entry to our programmes usually requires a good (normally a 2:1 or above) Honours degree, or an equivalent qualification if you were educated outside the UK, usually in a relevant area.
