Course summary

We are thrilled to offer a Masters in Musical Theatre Performance. Associated Studios take pride in developing performers of the highest calibre. You will be challenged and nurtured, inspired to work to the best of your ability. This flagship course is now going into its 5th year and has already proved to be an industry leading course, with graduates going into shows in the West End, National Tours, Regional Theatre, Cruise Ships and more. This vocational MA offers one year (4 Terms) of intensive practical training in Dance, Singing and Acting, the skills required to become an outstanding Musical Theatre performer. Please note that advanced performers who have an appropriate level of skill across at least two of the major disciplines will be considered, even if they do not hold a prior degree. Please be aware that once you apply to Associated Studios and have been accepted, you will be asked to complete the application process on the Chichester University website.

Qualified teacher status (QTS)

To work as a teacher at a state school in England or Wales, you will need to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). This is offered on this course for the following level:

Please note that currently, this course is a validated MA for UK, and EU Settled Status citizens only. Applicants from other countries are eligible for the Intensive British Diploma, which is the same course, but without the Extended Independent Performance Project. Entry requirements

Performers wanting to go into the professional Musical Theatre industry with either previous undergraduate qualifications or relevant previous experience within the arts. All students must audition with Associated Studios.
