Course summary
Based at our University Centre in MediaCityUK, the Fda Make-up Artistry for Fashion course covers a broad range of versatile modules that will equip students with the core professional, self-promotion, branding, design, communication, presentation and practical make-up artistry skills needed to be employable within the make-up industry. Students will acquire a developed understanding of academic and the underpinning research skills needed to support the conceptualisation of work and this will solidify the creative disciplines needed within the wider perspectives of the fashion and make-up industry. Students will be encouraged to engage in activities outside of studies to enrich their experience and help develop the networking skills needed to be successful in industry. Students will not only refine their signature style but also develop in depth industry knowledge and produce a strong portfolio that showcases a vast range of abilities; making them employable in the world of artistry. Our qualifications are a perfect blend of academic and practical modules that strengthen skills as a make-up artist and open opportunities for progression and prepare students with the requirements of the rapidly growing industry. The modules have been designed to work harmoniously to provide a diverse career path. Skills will be built in make-up artistry as well as core professional competencies.
